How it works
You tell us what you need photographed. We choose the photographer. You book directly with them. Here's every step, and who handles what.
You describe the job
Through the form or the message bubble: type of shoot, city, date, rough duration, number of people and how the photos will be used. No need for an exact budget or technical vocabulary.
We choose the photographer
We look at who in the network has done this kind of job, works in your area and is free on your date. We check with them before introducing them: you don't get a list of names to chase.
You get their quote
The photographer sends their own quote: hours, number of photos, delivery time, travel and usage rights. You can ask questions and adjust before accepting.
You book with them
You sign the photographer's contract and pay their deposit on their terms. From there, they are your point of contact for the shoot.
Shoot and delivery
The photographer shoots, edits (themselves or through our post-production service) and delivers your images in a private gallery.
Who does what
KLM Studio
- Receives and qualifies your request

- Offers post-production to photographers who want it
The photographer
- Sets their own rates and terms
- Signs the contract with you and invoices you
- Shoots and edits
- Keeps their copyright

You
- Describe what you need
- Accept or decline the quote
- Pay the photographer directly
- Receive your photos in the gallery
- Pay nothing to the network
Who pays whom
You only pay the photographer, at the price in their quote. The network is paid by the photographer, through a commission on the jobs we send them. That's why matching is free for you, and why the price isn't inflated by a middleman: the photographer sets their rate exactly as they would for a client they found themselves.
